Greg Charles has over 20 years of experience working with all types of organizations ranging from small business start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. For the first dozen years of his career his work experience involved managing corporate financial operations and reporting, where he learned the challenges of managing a business first-hand.
Since 2002, Greg has been active in teaching others about business and data. He began his teaching career in the Computational Finance Program at the Oregon Graduate Institute. Since then, he has taught at a number of colleges and universities in the Portland, OR metropolitan area in the fields of accounting, finance, economics, business math, forecasting and managerial statistics. He currently holds adjunct faculty positions at Portland Community College where he teaches in the Business Administration and Dental Technology Programs, and The Art Institute of Portland where he teaches in the Design Management and Fashion Marketing Programs.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Greg provides coaching and training to individuals who seek to better understand their data enabling them to take targeted action to achieve their organizational goals. In recent years he has worked with individuals from a wide range of organizations including:

- A European trade promotion agency in Panama
- A state budget and fiscal management office
- Oregon Health & Science University
- Intel Corporation
He has also worked with local entrepreneurs in the areas of:
- Food and beverage operations
- Fashion retailing
Greg earned his M.A. in Development Banking from The American University in Washington D.C. and his B.A. in International Relations from The University of Pennsylvania.
